Overview
The NPT team was launching a new client portal. Since key business outcomes would occur in the portal, a new way to track those KPIs and tie them back to interactions on the main website was required. Plus, the metrics needed to be accessible to various departments across the organization.
Objective
FourFront needed to not only create a reliable data stream and a reporting interface, but we also set out to create custom tagging that respected user privacy and also complied with the portal vendor’s strict rules and limited access. Additionally, given the nature of the financial tool, we had to navigate tricky access rules and red tape.
Strategy & Results
We successfully created, installed, QA’d and maintained custom analytics tagging to track behavior throughout each step of the user journey. Utilizing cross-domain tracking, the report helped tie key outcomes back to traffic occurring on the client’s public website. Additionally, we designed a custom funnel report that centralized critical behavior and conversion metrics in a clear, comprehensive, and digestible format.
